Northumbria Graduate Fashion Show

Last night i went to Northumbria Graduate Fashion Show some of the piece's of clothing were amazing but there were a few show stoppers that caught my eye these are shown below.

KATY JARVIS

This is a piece from Katy Jarvis's collection the jacket with the prined and embellished camel on it was my favourite you can clearly see the thought and time that has gone into it. The whole collection flowed really well and it was a nice change to see some colour. The playful collecion was inspired by elephant/colour, festivals and historical RAF plane manuals and was made from Spring/Summer.

LESLEY ELIZABETH FORD

This is from Lesley Elizabeth Ford's collection had amazing attention to detail how she pleated and folded the material. Hints of colour and playful props designed to create garments that pull you into a fantasy world. This collection clearly shows a hint of victorian but with a modern, fanasty twist.

HARRIET DEVA FERRIS 

 Harriet Ferris used colour very well within her collection beautiful deep greens, plums and deep reds. Harriet clearly shows great craftsmanship, intrigate hand punched leather lace and smocking.

A piece from Deborah Harkins collection, i dont usually tend to look at menswear but Deborah's pieces caught my eye. The range of fabrics, knits and natural colours give this collection a comfortable yet fashionable look.
